Irene’s determination is astounding. Despite yesterday’s painful ordeal, she got up this morning resolved to make a quick trip to Modesto in order to join the celebration of our niece, Megan Dias’ graduation party from Chico State University ….!!!

On the way home, Irene and I stopped in Los Banos and enjoyed smoothies @ Smoothie King with Irene’s sister, Jane and her husband, Howard.
One would never know from today’s experience just how bad an experience yesterday really was. Irene continues to reference this verse:
