Irene’s EPO was increased today. Last evening her doctor confirmed that she’s battling a VIRUS. She’s home this evening after a rigorous day at dialysis hoping to recover in time to enjoy her weekend OFF of dialysis.

Irene’s red blood cell count is 8.8…obviously way tooooo low. It’s affected her energy over the last few days and is probably related to the allergy/sinus headache and sore throat she’s been battling. She was given a high dose of Epogen during her treatment protocol today.

This evening she’s very uncomfortable with the unyielding nausea after an exhausting day at dialysis.

Hoping for a better tomorrow.

Irene had a very good weekend…mostly because she was able to share such valuable time with Jocelyn & JoAnna. She’s having an extremely ROUGH evening, now battling the RAGING nausea. Hopefully she bounces back tomorrow.
