Well Wishes From Roni Saporito

Dear Dias Family:  My heart, thoughts and prayers go out to all of you during this extremely difficult time.  Reading through all the entires brings out how wonderful and remarkable a person that Irene is.  Her strength, courage, dignity, positive attitude and above all unwavering faith is truly inspirational.  With the encourging news in her treatment progression we all know she will beat this and come back stronger than ever!

Of course with all her family and friends support along with her faith it brings her up closer to Him and closer to healing.  I pray for her everyday.  I don’t know her personally but she sounds like a very loving, caring, kind and thoughtful person who would help out anyone who needed it.  We definitely need more Irenes in this world.  She’s truly an amazing human being!

Thank you for keeping us updated and including us in her journey of recovery.  I do feel like I now know her and feel truly blessed because of it!

Well Wishes From David Gschwend

Hey Irene,

I recently went around your old stomping grounds at Paradiso Ct to let people know about the need for blood. Many people have already been tracking with your journey and when asked for blood people were immediately ready and willing. Some were disappointed that they could not give blood because of their medical conditions. In any event, you are well loved and respected and people’s hearts are with you Irene. Know that you are held in such great regard. We send our love to you.

Well Wishes From Jean Chalmers

Hi Mrs “D”,

Today the Lord did one of those incredible things that just blow us away.

I saw Martha Price in the MV mailroom (our old stomping grounds !).  As we were talking about our prayers and concerns for you she said she was claiming “I am the
God that healeth thee” (an old chorus from the 80’s or early 90’s) for you and herself.  I said how I had popped an old CD with that song on it the other day and claimed it for you and myself.  She said how she had tried to remember the words to the song and I said oh I know the words but can’t find the scripture it is based on.  She knew the scripture !!!!! We had been struggling with this for days.  Now it is solved.  I wrote down the words for her and she wrote the scripture ref.  God is never random.  He knew we needed the others info to get this to you.  Sooooooo…….

The scripture she found is Exodus 15:26

The words to the song are:

I am the God that healeth thee.
I am the Lord your healer.
I sent my Word to heal your Disease.
I am the Lord your healer.

Then the song changes to :

You are the God that healeth me.
You are the Lord my healer.
You sent Your Word and healed my disease.
You are the Lord my healer.

It repeats over and over.  So I am claiming this for you Irene.  The Lord impressed it upon me to do so as well as Martha.  He is an awesome God.

I love you and you are never far from my thoughts and always in my prayers.

Jean
