Well Wishes

Precious Irene –

It was so wonderful to hear your voice last night. Sometimes I let fear get a foothold and just hearing your voice helped bring me back to hope and trust in our God during this trial. Your courage in this battle is faith building for all of us.  The pureness of your heart and your gentle way is such a blessing. “In our weakness He is made strong.” I wanted to be of some comfort to you, but I found it was me that was comforted. Thank you. God has always used you to comfort others and even during this time that your body is so weak, the Spirit is so strong in you that God’s purpose is fulfilled. This verse that I have today for all of us –

Romans 12:12 “rejoicing in hope, perserving in tribulation, devoted to prayer.”

Hello Dias family!

I have been spending much time with Dave and Cyndi so I’ve been keeping up with how you are all doing. I just wanted to let you know that I have been praying for your family and thinking of you often. I always look back with fondest memories of seeing your smiling faces at our many UCO concerts. You’re the most dedicated parents around! =) In the midst of uncertainty it is certainly reassuring to rest in the fact that the Lord is faithful and compassionate and good. Blessings to you!

Dear Irene,
We just learned of your illness in seeing a notice on the Bulletin Board at Mt. Hermon. Since we do not have your address, we wanted to send you our Get Well wishes and let you know that we will be praying for you. We so admire your spirit, and know that is because of your relationship with the Lord. We know He is your strength during these difficult and challenging days. We trust that He is with you at all times and you are leaning on Him for support and comfort, as well as your wonderful family. Please give the girls and Dave our love and let them know that they are in our thoughts and prayers also.
