UCSF Kidney Transplant Protocol

7.30 p.m.

Thanks for checking in.

Irene and I were at UCSF for most of the day meeting with the kidney transplant team members which included physicians, a coordinator, social worker, etc. The purpose of the scheduled protocol was to update all related issues since she’s been on the waiting list for more than 3 years. It was a long but productive day and we continue to be in AWE of UCSF’s amazing team, who gives of their lives to save lives…everyday.

Thanks for caring,
Dave

7.30 p.m.

It took 6 medical technicians and 45 minutes of “needle fishing” before Irene was “ON” the dialysis machine for treatment at o’dark thirty this morning. She managed through some discomfort and rested/slept all afternoon…and now it’s almost time for bed…….

OKAY, I hope that she’s up to attending the SF Giants Baseball Game tomorrow afternoon. Go Giants!

Thanks for caring,
Dave

Now, having said that, she’s more determined than ever to live victoriously above the ruthless circumstances.

Thanks for caring………
Dave
