Up Very Early This Morning

Up Very Early This Morning

Irene was up VERY EARLY this morning and gladly took me to SJC for an early flight to Chicago for client meetings tomorrow.  She never ceases to amaze me ….

I met with my nephew, Matt Dias, in Chicago, late this afternoon, where we enjoyed some quality time together walking around on the North Side ….!!!

Wrigley Field is in “Wrigleyville” …. !!!  The weather was a “warm” 18 degrees ….!!!

We took the train downtown and ate dinner at Mike Ditka’s Restaurant.  Matt is definitely wearing his game face ….!!!

After dinner we strolled to Matt’s favorite …. Argo Tea.

Irene’s doing well today, even with only two hours of dialysis on Friday.

Thanks for caring,

Dave

Bounce Back!

Bounce Back!

3.30 p.m…

Irene’s having a MUCH better day;  the nausea is hovering at a low roar for now… (3 on a 1-10 scale).

She’s bustling around the house and the yard; one would never know she has any physical challenge if they saw her right now.

It’s nice to have a reprieve…

Thanks for praying…and for caring,
Dave

An Almost Infiltration?

6.30 p.m….

As is my habit, I called Irene to check on her around 4 p.m. only to discover that she was driving home early from dialysis treatment.  She had a “near infiltration” where the needle was disrupting the fistula wall and causing intense pain.  She completed 2 hours of the regularly scheduled 3 hour session.

She’s extremely nauseated, icing her arm and trying to find that comfortable position.

Hopeful she’ll bounce back tomorrow…

Thanks for caring,
Dave
