I was gone last week on business travel; Irene’s sisters, Carmen and Jane, spent most of the week with her.

Irene’s still coughing and uncomfortable but she no longer has a fever. Dialysis was uneventful and she’s glad for a reprieve until Wednesday. She’s nauseated (what else is new?) and trying to rest.

8 p.m….!!!
We had a great weekend with Carmen and Jane who left early this morning.
Our friends, Bob and Susan Nishizaki, celebrating their 29th wedding anniversary this weekend in Monterey, visited and we enjoyed lunch at Zameens, a local Mediterranean favorite in Aptos. We’ve known Bob and Susan for 26 years…!!!
This evening Irene is running a low grade fever… 99.5. Hopefully a good night’s rest will find her in a better place tomorrow.
Thanks for caring,
Dave
