This late breaking report is about the status of the health system in the U.K.  It speaks for itself.

The U.S. Healthcare System, although facing many challenges remains the best in the world…which is why droves of people come to the U.S. for care year in, year out.

It was a windy and foggy day in the city but we were treated for dinner at the Fog Harbor Fish House, at Pier 39, by Bob and Susan Nishizaki whom we’ve known for 26 years ….!!!  Irene and Susan share birthdays in the month of August. Alcatraz Island is in the background.  As much as we are grateful for all that UCSF does it was great to see the city and not have to go by and “visit” with their medical team ….

Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven.

This morning JoAnna and I anointed Irene with oil and prayed over her, asking God to heal her body and remove the amylodosis.  We also prayed for restored kidney function.
