I have been telling Irene that she’s a “saint” lately…mostly because of her incredible attitude on this surreal journey of faith.
Wikipedia defines SAINT here.
Irene had a good day yesterday. We drove to Santa Maria and had lunch with friends Michael, Rebecca and Isla Corwin. I put several of the photos yesterday on my Facebook page.
Today, Irene worked in the yard and in her Wisteria Garden. It was a FANTASTIC weather day, hovering in the low 70’s with high blue skies. Her nausea remained at bay.
Whether or not Irene actually achieves “sainthood” status; in my book she’s already arrived.
Thanks for caring,
Dave
Mom, you certainly ARE, a Saint. XOXO Jocelyn
Dave and Irene,
As your journey through pain continues, I wanted to say thanks for being an example to us all of seeing Jesus through the veil of the pain. Truly, pain is ‘the gift nobody wants’ but you have turned your pain into regular lessons for us all via your lives.
Thanks for 2 lives so very well lived.
