Irene’s had a fairly good day. 

We had a great lunch with Mark and Sue Cauwels at the Santa Cruz Harbor.  They just closed escrow on the most amazing house location in Santa Cruz…literally on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean with full bay views including both the Harbor and Santa Cruz Lighthouses.  With wildlife in abundance, it’s a stunning location…!!!

Last evening we attended a Steve Green concert at Mount Hermon. “A Journey of Faith” is the title of Steve’s first live concert recording DVD/CD package.

We were joined at the concert by Irene’s sisters Carmen and Jane and friend David Lucy, who spent the night with us following their Pajaro Dunes vacation last week.

Jack and Phyllis Cauwels also joined us for the amazing concert experience!!!

We’re looking forward to the August 1 concert at Mount Hermon where our very good friend and recording artist Amick Byram will be performing.

Irene’s nausea comes in waves but she’s an overcomer…!!!

Hi everyone….please note the following email from our good friend and intercessor, Alex Hamilton. 

Dear Dave,

I just wanted to let you know about a situation that has developed at our church, BayMarin.  Vivian Tuma, a mother of six school age kids, and a member of our church was recently diagnosed with nonHodgkins, follicular lymphoma. It is at Stage 4 as it has metastasized to her bones.  Until now the six kids were all home schooled so Vivian is both mother and teacher to them all.  The family has set up a caringbridge site at http://www.caringbridge.org/visit/teamtuma and could really use all the prayer they can get.

I saw with great joy the photos of Irene’s time with her family at the Beach.  It is a testament to your family, Irene’s character and God’s grace that you can find joy in the valley.  I continue to hold you all in my prayers.
